En este trabajo se aplic un modelo predictivo de clasificacin basado en Redes Neuronales Artificiales (RNA) Perceptrn Multicapa (MLP) asociadas al algoritmo de aprendizaje backpropagation, con el propsito de estimar las caractersticas o sntomas que presenta un pas catalogado como ms o menos corrupto; se compararon los resultados con los obtenidos por otros modelos similares en aplicacin pero basados en caractersticas paramtricas convencionales y se contrastaron a su vez con los resultados tericos esperados de acuerdo a estudios previos sobre los determinantes de la corrupcin internacional. El Perceptrn Multicapa (MLP) obtuvo excelentes resultados en cuanto al poder de clasificacin y estimacin de las relaciones funcionales con respecto a otros modelos convencionales y los planteamientos tericos.
