I thought this book would be more fun for my son. While the story is okay, it didn’t hold his attention as much as I hoped. He enjoyed parts of it, but we’ve seen better middle-grade stories. Still, it’s worth a read.

Perfect for my reluctant reader!
I bought this book for my 10-year-old who has been struggling with reading. The engaging story and relatable characters really pulled him in! He actually finished it in a week and is excited to read more. Definitely a win!

Arrived damaged, a bit disappointed
Unfortunately, my copy of the book arrived with a bent cover, which was disappointing. The story itself seems good, but I’m not sure if I want to keep it since it looks so worn. I might return it for a new one and see if that changes my opinion.

Great for kids learning to read!
My daughter has just started to read on her own, and this book was perfect. The language is simple and the illustrations are nice. She felt proud finishing it! I do wish it had a few more illustrations, though.
