El trabajo explora y describe el fenmeno de las regulaciones organizacionales y su relacin con la autonoma de sus miembros. Para ello, indaga acerca de cmo y porqu se generan esas regulaciones y destaca su carcter endo y exogenerado. Identifica tambin algunos tipos de regulaciones que operan en el mbito organizacional, las funciones que ellas cumplen y su vinculacin con el ejercicio del poder. Por ltimo, seala los lmites de las regulaciones para condicionar la actividad de los miembros de las organizaciones y analiza la capacidad de stos para reinterpretarlas, aceptarlas o rechazarlas.
