This first volume was entertaining, but I found a few plot holes that took me out of the story. The yakuza setting is really interesting, and the romance is sweet, but I hope the next book clears up some of the confusion. Still a good read for fans of the genre!

I was really looking forward to this one, but it didn’t hit the mark for me. The main character felt a bit flat, and the pacing was slow at times. I expected more engagement with the yakuza theme based on the description. Might try another volume just to see if it gets better.
