Merton entwickelt einen Kontemplationsbegriff, der die Wirklichkeit alles Seienden als relationales Geschehen betrachtet. In diesem relationalen Sinn wird Religion zu einer Macht, die zum politischen Widerstand fhrt.About the AuthorDie Autorin: Sophia Bettina Karwath wurde 1966 in Nrnberg geboren. Sie studierte Theologie in Bamberg, Rom und Wrzburg. 1993 erfolgte der Studienabschlu als Diplomtheologin und Eintritt in den Orden der Franziskanerinnen von Oberzell/Wrzburg. Seit 1995 ist sie Lehrbeauftragte fr Feministische Theologie am Lehrstuhl fr Fundamentaltheologie der Universitt Wrzburg.
