Los residuos de metales pesados, pueden acumularse en los microorganismos, flora y fauna acutica, y de esta manera entrar en las cadenas alimentarias humanas, dando como resultado problemas de salud tales como desordenes en la piel y dao en el hgado. En el presente trabajo se combinan dos tcnicas, una convencional y una biotecnolgica, la cual es una alternativa para la remocin de metales pesados, mediante un filtro que utiliza la cscara de huevo. Se prepar una solucin patrn de 1000 ppm, posteriormente se hicieron diluciones de 10, 20, 30 y 40 ppm para el Dicromato de Potasio y de 20, 30, 40 y 50 ppm para el Cloruro Frrico, cada solucin con un volumen de 4 L. Se tomaron 6 muestras a diferentes concentraciones cada 10 minutos durante una hora, realizando las mediciones de la absorbancia en el espectrofotmetro UV/Vis/Nir Varian. Al realizar las pruebas se pudo observar que en el Cromo es necesario reducir el pH de 6 a 4 para que haya mayor eficiencia en la absorcin, sin embargo, los resultados de absorcin slo llegaron al 18.50% para dicromato de Potasio, para el Cloruro Frrico tuvo una eficiencia del 96.29% manteniendo un pH neutro
