Esta investigacin tiene como objetivo mostrar, a travs del reportaje, la realidad que viven las mujeres indgenas. Se busca ser voceros de stas mujeres que han sido calladas por la misma sociedad y el gobierno, vindose excluidas de sus derechos y garantas. Por ello y ante un capitalismo que con su neoliberalismo cercenan las culturas prehispnicas, es indispensable dar a conocer la actual situacin de los indgenas en el pas, y una pequea aportacin fue la organizacin Uarhi que permiti echar un vistazo a las purpechas. El reportaje logra su objetivo ya que por su naturaleza es posible profundizar en la informacin. Al escuchar el testimonio de las mujeres que a diario luchan para salir adelante en un mundo que hasta la fecha las discrimina por su condicin de mujer y de indgenas, constatamos que son una serie de factores (social, educativo, econmico, familiar, poltico, de salud) los que complican la situacin de la purpecha. La problemtica no se resolver pronto, pero una sociedad informada es una sociedad ms consciente, y el trabajo periodstico es brindar informacin, darle de una forma clara y sencilla, una mirada a una realidad existente.
