Ungenaue Anforderungsdefinitionen und die Unfhigkeit, Requirementsnderungen zu steuern, waren nur einige Grnde fr mangelhaftes Requirements Management. Hinzu kamen fehlende Traceability und unvollstndige Versionierung von Requirements. Inzwischen ist das werkzeuguntersttzte Requirements Management fr Entwicklungschefs und Projektleiter in den Unternehmen unerlsslich geworden. Dies haben sich natrlich auch Softwarefirmen zunutze gemacht und entsprechende Requirements Management Tools entwickelt, die das Requirements Management erleichtern und effektiv gestalten sollen. Diese Studie beschreibt das Vorgehen und die Ergebnisse des Evaluationsprozesses zur Auswahl eines geeigneten Requirements Management Tools. Unter genauere Betrachtung und Prfung ihrer Einsatztauglichkeit wurden hierbei das CaliberRM 2008 von Borland, das Polarion Requirements 1.0.1 von Polarion und das Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2005 genommen.
