Esta investigacin realiza desde el psicoanlisis el anlisis de un sntoma contemporneo como el de la hiperactividad, asumido desde el punto de vista mdico como una enfermedad que seala una desadaptacin. Dos aspectos fundamentales se desarrollan: primero, la respuesta institucional ante aquello que de la subjetividad del nio perturba lo establecido y, segundo, la inquietud pulsional del nio que igualmente es una respuesta sintomtica frente a lo que no funciona por parte de la autoridad. El concepto psicoanaltico que orienta la presente investigacin es el de pulsin, pues se emplea como punto de anudamiento de los desarrollos que se realizan sobre el Trastorno por Dficit de Atencin con/sin Hiperactividad (TDAH). Este es el modo como desde la psiquiatra se clasifican actualmente aquellos comportamientos del nio que anteriormente eran considerados como indisciplina y que podan afectar el aprendizaje de s mismo y de los otros si no se correga, adoptando para tal efecto medidas disciplinarias y pedaggicas. Una pregunta es abordada desde un lugar distinto al modelo de la medicina: Cmo responde la educacin y el psicoanlisis ante la inquietud pulsional del nio?
