Bei der Handhabung von Rettungsmitteln ist der Haken ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Aussetzsystems. Beschrieben werden die Gefahren von Bootsmanvern und die gesetzlichen Grundlagen. Es folgen Vorschlge zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit whrend des Aussetzens und Einholens der Boote durch den Einsatz einer Absturzsicherung. Informationen von Herstellern, Flaggenstaaten, der Berufsgenossenschaft Verkehr und der Bundesstelle fr Seeunfalluntersuchung werden dazu herangezogen. Die Vorzge einer Absturzsicherung werden herausgearbeitet und die Nachteile diskutiert. Auf dieser Basis wird eine Handlungsempfehlung am Beispiel eines Kreuzfahrtschiffes fr die technische Inspektion einer Reederei abgegeben. About the Author Janosch Max Paul Nispel wurde 1984 in Hamburg geboren. Fasziniert von der Seefahrt begann der Autor die Berufsausbildung zum Schifffahrtskaufmann. Seine Passion zum Seemann entdeckte der Autor in seiner Lehrzeit, whrend einer Reise auf dem Flaggschiff der Reederei. Im Anschluss an die Ausbildung nahm der Autor das Studium der Nautik auf. Whrend dieser Zeit konnte er umfassende praktische Erfahrungen auf Tank, Container, Passagier und Khlschiffen sammeln. Im Jahr 2012 schloss der Autor seine Studien mit dem akademischen Grad des Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieurs fr Seeverkehr erfolgreich ab.
