The longawaited sequel to Key to Aten, Jodi, this time with her cat, goes back to Aten to find the young clan leader with whom she has fallen in love. She finds that he is missing, possibly held hostage by a sinister being who stalks Jodi and to whom she is unwillingly attracted. Chan she find her young clan leader? Can she escape the evil power that pursues her? Another great book for reading groups from 12 through adult.

The Second Chronicle of Aten is a solid addition to the series! I enjoyed how the author expanded on the lore. The action scenes were well done, and the pacing picked up significantly by the end. Definitely worth a read!

Enjoyable Read, but Lacked Pacing
This sequel to 'The Chronicles of Aten' was good, but I felt some parts dragged on a bit. The world-building is still fantastic, though! I think fans will enjoy it, just be ready for some slower moments.

Didn't Capture My Interest
Honestly, I struggled to get through this book. It started off strong but lost momentum as it went on. I was hoping for more from the characters and plot development. Just wasn't for me this time.

Epic Fantasy Adventure Continues
I was so excited to dive into the second chronicle! The plot twists had me reeling, and I loved the new characters introduced. If you enjoyed the first book, you won't be disappointed with this continuation. I can’t wait for the next one!

Somewhat Disappointed with the Direction
I had high hopes for this book after loving the first one. While it’s still well written, the storyline didn’t capture me like I expected. I found myself skimming through parts. Maybe it just wasn’t what I was hoping for?
