The importance of biological control particular attention is given to Stemboring Weevil, Listronotus setosipennis H. and Leaffeeding Beetles, Zygogramma bicolorata P. in control of Parthenium hysterophorus L. in tropical and subtropical regions. It needs to implement integrated management where various control methods should be alternated. Among of these biological control seems to be the most effective control methods in parthenium weed. In this review other control strategies are also discussed.
