I was excited to get this book, but it arrived with a dented cover and the print quality wasn't great. The content was alright but I expected better. It felt rushed in parts and didn't fully deliver on the promise of exploring 80s cinema. Not worth the hype for me.

Mixed Feelings About This One
I was really looking forward to reading this, but it had some slow parts. The analysis of music videos was interesting, but I felt it dragged a bit. Still, if you're a die-hard 80s cinema fan, there are definitely some gems in here.

Great Read, But Some Gaps
This book has such a cool concept, but I wished it went a bit deeper into certain films. The focus on action stars is solid, and the links to music videos are fun, but I expected more concrete analysis from the Cold War perspective. Still a fun read for nostalgia lovers!

A Nostalgic Treasure from the 80s
I just finished this book and wow, it took me back to my childhood! The way it captures the essence of 80s cinema and music videos is incredible. I loved diving into the stories of action stars and the Cold War era. Perfect for anyone who grew up in that time or is a fan of vintage films!
