Creatures and Critters features minibooks about highinterest animals such as puppies, kittens, and familiar zoo animals. Each minibook relies on basic vocabulary and illustrations to tell a rhyme. Teachers reproduce the minibooks; students color, assemble, and read! The larger, halfpage size is great for smaller hands and can be used at circle time or for smallgroup readings. Each minibook is preceded by two pages of teacher resources related to the story and other fun, flexible suggestions for using the minibooks. Resource pages at the end include patterns for book covers and a reading list.
