Die Kultur des neuen Kapitalismus". Aufbauend auf einer Darlegung des Argumentationsganges und der Sennettschen Konzeption des Schlsselbegriffs "Flexiblitt" erfolgt eine Analyse der zentralen Diagnosen Sennetts fr die Gelingensbedingungen menschlicher Existenz unter Bedingungen des neuen Kapitalismus. Die sprichwrtlich gewordenen Diagnosen Sennetts, "Drift" und "Unlesbarkeit", werden auf diese Weise erlutert. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird das originr soziologische Werk in den Kontext der modernen politischen Theorie gestellt, um zu klren, in welchem Zusammenhang die Befunde ber die Kultur des neuen Kapitalismus mit der Legitimittslage demokratischer Systeme stehen.
