While I appreciated some of the tips in this Rick Steves book, I had a hard time finding enough detail for first-time visitors. The maps were decent but could have been clearer. It’s okay, but I expected more from this brand.

Useful but missing some details
The Snapshot guide is quite handy and covers the essentials for the hill towns, but I found some areas a bit lacking in depth. I was hoping for more on local festivals or events. Still, it’s a good resource for a quick visit!
