Product Description Riki's Tale is the second in the 'Tails around the World' series by Sophie Kittredge. Set in old Japan, it tells the story of a fisherman's son and the abandoned dog he rescues. The two delight us and one another with their adventures and friendship. Along the way, we learn a few Japanese words and get a glimpse into a fascinating culture. It's accompanied by colorful, whimsical illustrations. About the Author Sophie's illustrations have been published in magazines, textbooks and children's books. She has also worked in the animation business on movies and in television. Born in France, Sophie grew up in Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and now lives in coastal South Carolina. Riki's Tale is her second children's picture book in her 'Tails around the World' series.
