Die Arbeit beschftigt sich mit der Analyse von Zuschreibungs und Aushandlungsprozessen auf der Ebene religiser Akteure am Beispiel von HomepageBesitzern des rezenten Hexendiskurses. Im Rahmen einer Akteursperspektivischen Religionsgeschichtsschreibung wurde als exemplarischer Teilbereich die Konstruktion von Ritualen anhand ausgewhlter Ritualprskripte untersucht. Im Gegensatz zu systemisch und zugleich statisch verstandenen Ritualen, werden Rituale nicht mehr als in sich geschlossene Systeme angesehen, die unabnderlich in Zeit und Raum bestehen, sondern als von den jeweiligen Akteuren konstruierte Symbolsysteme, welche per se fluiden Charakter aufweisen und im Laufe der Geschichte an neue Wissensbestnde und Ereignisse angepasst und konstruiert werden. Fr die Untersuchung von clusterfrmigen Religionsdiskursen wird postuliert, dass Zuschreibungs und Konstruktionsprozesse mehrdimensional, d. h. fr die einzelnen Teildiskurse untersucht werden mssen. Leitende Fragestellungen waren dabei: Wie werden Rituale im Medienverbund Internet designed? Welche Konstruktionsprozesse lassen sich im Rahmen von Ritualdesign beobachten und lassen sich dahinter stehende Strukturen eruieren?
