This text attempts to establish the connection between Robert Lowell and the sublime. His interest in the sublime dominated his poetry from the beginning. This work examines the poetics of sublimity which traces journeys beyond English language and behaviour into exalted states.

I bought 'Robert Lowell and the Sublime' for my college course in Hispanic Studies, and it's been a fantastic resource. The analysis is so rich and insightful, really helping me understand the complexities of Lowell's work. Highly recommended for anyone studying literature!

Good but not what I expected
The book is interesting, but I found some sections a bit dense. It’s perfect for academic use, but I wish there were more examples or summaries to make the concepts clearer. Still a solid read for those deep into Hispanic studies!

Arrived Damaged, But Content is Good
I was excited to get this book, but it arrived with a damaged cover, which was disappointing. The content itself is solid, discussing Lowell's impact on literature in a unique way. I'll look for a replacement copy!
