About the Author N le 19 janvier 1954 Paris, Thierry Jonquet a une enfance marque par le cinma et les livres. Il tudie la philosophie l'universit de Crteil et plus tard l'ergothrapie. Il mne de front pendant longtemps deux activits distinctes : celle de scnariste et celle de romancier. Il crit de nombreux romans pour la jeunesse et les adultes (publis notamment dans la collection Folio). Ces derniers sont souvent des romans noirs, habits de faits divers et de satire politique et sociale. Thierry Jonquet s'teint le 9 aot 2009, Paris, en laissant derrire lui une oeuvre consquente et rcompense de plusieurs prix (notamment le Trophe 813 du meilleur roman trois reprises). Son roman "Mygale" est adapt en 2011 au cinma par le ralisateur espagnol Pedro Almodvar, sous le titre "La piel que habito".
