Betty Jo Powers Lemaster, the fourth of seven children born to a hard working mother and a minister/steel mill clerk father. Her father assisted in her delivery when the family lived in a 'tar shack' deep within Dry Fork holler, which is part of Coeburn, Virginia. Coeburn's original name was Guest's Station. Although she was raised in Mansfield, Ohio, and resides there still, these stories take Betty back to her beginnings and the family that remains dear to her.
