Seit der Antike gelten Musen als gttliche Inspirationsquelle fr Knstler. Die ursprngliche antike Vorstellung bestand darin, dass Ideen nicht selbst entwickelt, sondern von Musen von auen eingegeben werden. Nach einer Bedeutungsnderung in der Neuzeit wurden auch Personen aus Fleisch und Blut als Musen bezeichnet. Meist waren dies Freundinnen von Knstlern, vereinzelt aber auch Mnner. Sie inspirierten die Knstler durch ihren Charakter und Ausstrahlung, meist jedoch kombiniert mit einer erotischen Beziehung. Einige dieser als Musen wirkenden Frauen sind in die Geschichte eingegangen, so beispielsweise die russischen Musen Anna Achmatova, Olga Picasso, Louise von Salom, Gala Dal, Dina Vierny sowie Lilja Brik und Elza Triolet. Einleitend sollen die Schicksale dieser bedeutenden Frauen umrissen werden. Dabei wird besonders auf ihre inspirierende Rolle eingegangen. Erwhnung finden auerdem die Knstler, fr die die Musen eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt haben. Daraufhin wird Elza und Lilja Jur'evna Kagans Leben nher betrachtet, da diese beiden Frauen im Mittelpunkt der folgenden Analyse stehen. Im weiteren Verlauf der Arbeit werden ihre Beziehungen zu den sie umgebenden Mnnern geschildert. Exemplifiziert werden diese an einer Reihe der fr sie verfassten poetischen Werke. Abgesehen davon sollen diese musischen Beziehungen anhand von zwei konkreten literarischen Werken veranschaulicht werden. Besonderes Augenmerk fllt dabei auf Viktor klovskijs Zoo, oder Briefe nicht ber die Liebe" und Vladimir Majakovskijs Liebesbriefe an Lilja" aus den Jahren 1917 bis 1930 mit Zeichnungen des Autors. Dabei wird kurz auf deAbout the AuthorOlga Levina schreibt Theater, Film, Musik, Literatur und Ausstellungskritiken. Sie studierte slavische Philologie, Komparatistik und Philosophie an der LMU Mnchen und promoviert zum Thema "Der Autor als Werk Neuer Journalismus in Russland".
