In an autobiographical account of his rise to the pinnacle of the American retail business, the personal reminiscences of the late billionaire retailer are combined with dozens of interviews with Sam Waltons family and friends. Large first printing. Major ad/promo.

I just finished 'Made in America' and wow, what an inspiring story Sam Walton has! His insights on building Walmart and his dedication to American entrepreneurship really stood out to me. I bought this for my dad, and he hasn't put it down either!

Good Story, but a Bit Lengthy
Sam Walton's journey is interesting but can drag on in spots. There were parts I absolutely loved and some that felt kinda repetitive. Still, if you're interested in retail or business, it’s worth a read. Probably could've used a bit more editing, though.

Great Insights but Lacks Depth in Parts
I enjoyed the book, but wanted more detail on some of his business strategies. The anecdotes were good but sometimes felt surface-level. Still, I'm glad I read it and learned a lot about his values and principles in business.
