La conceptualizacin y la expresin lingstica del movimiento ha sido una de las reas ms estudiadas en aos recientes. El presente trabajo se inserta dentro de la discusin general que clasifica tipolgicamente a las lenguas de acuerdo a como expresan el componente trayectoria del evento de movimiento; y explora un conjunto particular de construcciones (verbos de manera ms prefijos de trayectoria) en francs que han sido propuestas como sistema satelital. Propuesta que fcilmente se podra extender al conjunto de las lenguas romances. No obstante, la evidencia que se muestra en la presente investigacin cuestiona el estatus de estos prefijos, en cuanto a su papel en la expresin del componente trayectoria del evento de movimiento, y revisa una serie adicional de condiciones morfosintcticas y semnticas que deben ser consideradas en la clasificacin de un grupo de morfemas como sistema satelital.
