Zu Beginn (Kapitel I) werden gesundheitsrelevante Begriffe geklrt, die dem grundstzlichen Verstndnis dienen sollen. Das zweite Kapitel gibt einen berblick ber das deutsche Gesundheitssystem, deren historische Entwicklung, Grundstrukturen, Grundmerkmale und Basisdaten, bevor im dritten Kapitel nher auf die Gesundheit von Kindern und Jugendlichen eingegangen wird. Das dritte und vierte Kapitel bilden den Hauptteil meiner Arbeit. Es wird die derzeitige gesundheitliche Situation von Kindern und Jugendlichen nher spezifiziert. Im vierten Kapitel wird die Institution Schule vorgestellt, zumal die Schule schon lnger als ein zentrales Setting der Gesundheitsfrderung gesehen wird. Es werden die schulische Gesundheitsfrderung, die gesundheitsfrdernde Schule und einige Projekte nher dargelegt.
