Ein breites Spektrum an Themen will auch in Hoffmanns neuem Gedichtband "Seelenflutung" den Leser zu manch lyrischer Stunde einladen. Das Thema Zeit und Vergnglichkeit der menschlichen Existenz bzw. die knstlerischfruchtbare Auseinandersetzung mit dieser existentiellen Grundsituation macht sicherlich einen thematischen Hauptakzent des neuen Buches aus. Doch auch klassische Themen der Poesie, wie Liebe, Schmerz, romantische Beschreibungen der Natur bzw. des Lebens in all seinen wundervollen, aber auch tragischmelancholischen Aspekten finden in "Seelenflutung" ihren Platz.About the AuthorMein Name ist Thomas Hoffmann, ich bin 27 Jahre alt und interessiere mich schon seit meiner Schulzeit sehr fr Lyrik, wobei mein favorisierter Autor, zu dem ich sozusagen immer wieder zurckkehre, sicherlich Rainer Maria Rilke ist. Doch auch viele andere Dichter, etwa Joseph von Eichendorff, Hermann Hesse, Hugo von Hofmannsthal oder auch Juan Ramn Jimnez hatten und haben einen groen Einfluss auf meine poetischen Versuche und mein PoesieVerstndnis im allgemeinen. Im Sommer 2007 schloss ich mein Studium der Philosophie, Politikwissenschaft und Anglistik an der Universitt Trier erfolgreich ab. Zurzeit schreibe ich eine Dissertation im Fach Philosophie und arbeite am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Drflinger in Trier.
