L'estudi presentat aborda les relacions interpersonals entre infants i adolescents en el marc dels grups classe. A partir de l'administraci del sociograma GRODE s'analitzen les preferncies i els rebutjos de noies i nois segons el sexe de les persones emissores i receptores. Es va treballar sobre les dades aportades per ms de 7.700 alumnes pertanyents a 58 centres d'educaci primria i secundria de la Comunitat Autnoma de Catalunya. Els resultats de la recerca posen en evidncia que hi ha una major acceptaci de les noies, tant per part del collectiu femen com del mascul i que, entre els 6 i els 16 anys es manifesta una marcada preferncia relacional envers les persones del propi sexe i una tendncia a la concentraci de rebutjos envers les que no ho sn. Aquest fenomen d'autosegregaci revela la prsncia de subcultures femenines i masculines que ordenen les relacions i que contribueixen significativament a la construcci de la identitat de gnere. El procs de socialitzaci que t lloc durant l'escolaritzaci tendeix aix a produir i reproduir les representacions tradicionals d'all que es considera o femen o mascul.
