Spectrophotometric methods of analysis are an excellent tool, which are very widely used for determination of wide kinds of materials. These techniques are the most commonly used methods for metal analysis. Achievement of high accuracy and precision coupled with the cost effectiveness is the most important advantage of visual spectrophotometry. The challenge in this field of research is the development of newer reagents, which are comparatively stable. The investigation was aimed at establishing the complexation equilibria that exist in solution and at determining the basic characteristics of the complexes formed in solution. The proposed methods have been successfully applied to the determination of aluminium(III), manganese(II), iron(III), iron(II), nickel(II) and copper(II)in aluminium alloys, nonferrous alloy and multivitamins with minerals. Finally I tried to summarize in this thesis all the used equations for Normal and Derivative methods for spectrophotometric determination of any solute whatever metal ion or a drug .
