In this book we present an Autonomic SelfHealing Architecture (ASHE). We use the techniques from Artificial Immune Systems for anomaly classification and indexing in selfhealing networks. We categorise selfhealing as a super set of conventional FCAPS network management functions. Since selfmanagement functions do not have distinct boundaries, at the implementation level, ambiguities like functional redundancy, logical coupling, can lead to abstraction.
