Product Description The book "Sentiments" was written by the author in a span of several decades and through the years, found herself emoting feelings which she expressed in writing. Her life had ups and downs there were times when she wanted to give up, but also did not want to fail. She faced her disappointments and failures in life, and emerged out of depression with strength, confidence, selfdiscipline, and developed compassion towards the less unfortunate. Her poetry expresses her love for family, sentiments and feelings towards others, with hopes to reach out and touch other lives through writing. She desires to be an inspiration to others who have hidden creative talents. This book also contains artistic photography that the author took herself, and some family photos with childhood memories. About the Author I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and hail from a big family. I attended Immaculate Conception Academy of Manila and College of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost College) and travelled extensively when I worked for Philippine Airlines. I migrated to New York City where I "resurrected" some of my old poems which were written between 20 to 40 years, and wrote new ones that I also published. I relocated to Washington, DC and at the law firm where I currently work, I wrote in our company newsletter, not only poetry, but also essays, travels, interviews, and others. Since this is my first book, I hope to get good reviews that will encourage me to write more. I would like to thank my loving family and friends for their support. I hope that my "thank you" will reverberate through continents, to my numerous friends, relatives and countrymen all over the world, who are proud of achievements of another Filipino. Mabuhay!
