Topics including distillation, recrystallisation, chromatography, elemental analysis, atomic absorption spectroscopy and mass spectrometry are discussed, and are illustrated on video on the accompanying CDROMs. Infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy are covered entirely through multimedia, with animations and virtual experiments.
