Shadow Voyage is a fascinating read! The extraordinary wartime escape of the SS Bremen is detailed so vividly that I felt like I was there. The author did a great job weaving history with storytelling. Definitely a book to have in your collection if you're into war history.

Not what I expected
I was disappointed with Shadow Voyage. I thought it would be more thrilling, but it felt more like a textbook than a gripping narrative. If you're looking for excitement, this might not be it. The details were thorough, though, which some might appreciate.

Interesting but a bit slow
I enjoyed Shadow Voyage but found some parts dragged on longer than needed. The story of the SS Bremen's escape is compelling, and I learned a lot, but it could have used a bit more action to keep me engaged. Overall, a decent read for history buffs.
