The Monastic Rule of St. Benedict is a 6th century document relevant in every age because its followers, who need not be monks or nuns, are led to Christ. The Rule of St. Benedict teaches all of us how to live. This book began as monthly letters to Oblates of St. Benedict, lay persons and clergy (not all of them Roman Catholic) who have an affiliation with Blue Cloud Abbey, Marvin, South Dakota. The author has lived under the Rule as a monk for thirty years.
