After our son's tragic death, I searched Christian and secular sources for material that would help me try to understand, learn, and heal, but nothing relieved the aching pain. We attended Survivors of Suicide (SOS) meetings and gained friendship and an awareness of other families and their pain, but still no healing. It was only when I began to write that I could feel God's Presence so strongly that I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, I was in the comfort of His embrace, and He was talking me through. This was God's way of helping me begin to heal. He was saying the words in my heart, and I was His scribe. He truly is the Author of my story. Although these letters were meant to be personaljust between God and meGod seemed to whisper that He has other children who need to read them so they too can start their healing journey.
