I enjoyed the 'Short Story of Contemporary Art', but I was hoping for more in-depth analysis on some artists. It’s a good overview, but it feels a bit surface-level for those already familiar with the basics. Still, it’s a decent introductory book!

Engaging and Easy to Read
The 'Short Story of Contemporary Art' is engaging and written in a way that’s super easy to digest. I read it in one sitting! The visuals paired with the text helped bring the stories of different artists to life. Highly enjoyable!

Not What I Expected
I was really looking forward to this book, but it arrived with some pages slightly bent, which was disappointing. The content itself is fine, but the packaging could’ve been better. I expected more for the price.

Decent but Somewhat Disappointing
I found the 'Short Story of Contemporary Art' to be decent, but it didn’t cover the artists I was hoping to read about. Some sections felt rushed, like the author was trying to cram too much in. It’s okay for a quick reference, though.

Perfect Gift for Art Lovers
I bought this book for my sister who loves art, and she absolutely adored it! It covers a lot of contemporary artists and movements without being too dense. The layout is beautiful, and it makes for a lovely coffee table book too!
