Although SIMON SAYS is not a commentary on I and II Peter, it endeavors to show that Peter learned his lessons so well that he presents over 100 commands in his two short epistles. Dr. Drake has chosen 14 of those commands to present principles that Peter gives to God's legal aliens of every age. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Donald Drake graduated from the King's College with a BA in English Literature and from Wheaton with an MA in Biblical Literature (NT). Ministries have included: Assistant Pastor at First Baptist Church of Hackensack, NJ. Assistant Treasurer, Advisory Board member of ABWE. President of Piedmont Baptist College for eighteen years. Accreditation Commission of the Association for Biblical Higher Education Board member and President of ABHE. English Bible Teacher for Bible Basics International. Short term missionary service in the Philippines and South Africa. He married Catherine Demarest in 1952 and they have four children, all active in Christian ministry. Mrs. Drake is the author of MAKE IT LIVE, a practical guide for teaching the Bible to children.
