La Informatizacin de la Sociedad es el proceso de utilizacin ordenada y masiva de las Tecnologas de la Informacin y las Comunicaciones en la vida cotidiana, para satisfacer las necesidades de todas las esferas de la sociedad, en su esfuerzo por lograr cada vez ms eficacia y eficiencia en todas las tareas y procesos. Dentro de estos se encuentran los sistemas CAD, que en la actualidad constituyen una herramienta importante para el trabajo de las diferentes ramas de la industria. Este libro presenta las diferentes fases en el desarrollo de un sistema CAD para automatizar el proceso de confeccin de la documentacin tcnica para fabricar rboles y ejes de molinos azucareros, que se corresponde con el objetivo general de la investigacin, extrado como consecuencia de la falta de un sistema informtico que realice este proceso automticamente. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se desarrollaron metodologas para la construccin del sistema propuesto y finalmente se construy el mismo, logrando con este el cumplimiento del objetivo general que trae aparejado un salto cualitativo en cuanto a calidad y eficiencia de las tareas de produccin de dicha entidad.
