Sister Giant’s 'A Young LA' has some great ideas and stories, but I found a few sections to be a bit repetitive. It’s a good read for those interested in social issues, but it could have been a little more concise. Still worth checking out!

Decent, but a bit slow
I found 'A Young LA' to be decent, but at times the pacing was slow and hard to follow. There are some great moments, but it took longer than I expected to really draw me in. If you're patient, it has its rewards!
