A Solid Philosophy Starter Pack
This children's box set from Socrates is a decent introduction to philosophy, but I wish it had more illustrations. My daughter enjoys the stories about the philosophers, but the text can be a bit dense at times. It gets the job done, though.

I got this box set thinking my 8-year-old would enjoy it, but he finds it really tough to follow. The concepts seem way over his head. I think it’s better suited for older kids, maybe 10 and up.

I bought this Socrates box set for my 10-year-old son, and he's loving it! The selection of philosophers is engaging, and the writing is easy for him to grasp. I appreciate that it sparks his interest in big ideas!

Beautifully Presented Box Set
The packaging of this Socrates philosophy set is lovely! The books are well made and present a nice variety of thinkers. However, a few books arrived with minor scuffs. Overall, it’s a great collection for curious minds!
