From Booklist Here's TheMunsters' TV family revisited. Pearl Wolfbane, a pleasant, pinkcheeked, blondehaired kid, sticks out like a sore thumb among the rest of the Wolfbane clan: slithery, blackclad mama Anaconda; daddy Boris, who likes to hang upside down in the kitchen; and brother Clod, who eats toadburgers with gusto. Thinking her family is about to become normal, she is thrilled when they all move to Primrose Drive. No such luck, but she soon finds out their neighbors aren't exactly normal either. What is normal anyway? When the families get together to foil a scam artist, friendships are cemented. This simply written chapter book is a surprising bit of innocent fun, with enough yucky details to tickle kids' funny bones, a sprinkling of raucous blackandwhite cartoon sketches to set the characters firmly in mind, and a worthy message to seal the deal.
