Gllert hat die Diskussion aus dem widerwrtigen Gestrpp banaler Vorurteile herausgehoben. Dieser entscheidende Schritt ist ihm auf eine relativ einfache Weise gelungen: durch eine Besinnung auf die Grundlage des deutschen Bilanzrechts. Seit ber hundert Jahren hat sich der Kern der Materie im Bilanzrecht niedergeschlagen; die Diskussion dort ist kaum von Modetorheiten belastet. Dieser Ansatz erklrt die relativ breiten historischen Analysen des Verfassers; sein Blick in eine (mgliche) Zukunft, das heit seine (implizite) normative Aussage, ist sorgfltig in der Rechtsentwicklung fundiert. Nur wer im Zeitgeist unserer Tage so unauflslich verstrickt ist, da er die Kontinuitt dieser Entwicklung nicht mehr wahrzunehmen vermag, wird hier eine Schwche, eine Flucht vor den Problemen (nach Art alter Dissertationen) sehen.
