From the Back Cover Stefanie Eifler untersucht den integrativen Ansatz zur Analyse abweichenden Verhaltens von Elliot, Huizinga & Ageton (1985). Dieser Ansatz vereinigt Konzepte der klassischen Devianztheorien zu einem umfassenden Erklrungsmodell. Die Autorin geht der Frage nach, ob sich dieses Modell empirisch bewhrt, wenn es bei Stichproben in der Allgemeinbevlkerung auf eine Vielzahl strafrechtlich relevanter Verhaltensweisen angewendet wird. Anhand eingehender Datenanalysen wird gezeigt, dass nicht alle Konzepte des Modells gleichermaen fr die Analyse verschiedener Formen kriminellen Verhaltens geeignet sind. Stefanie Eifler weist nach, dass diejenigen Konzepte, die auf der Perspektive der Sozialen Desorganisation sowie der Theorie der differentiellen Assoziationen basieren, primr fr die Erklrung leichterer Formen abweichenden Verhaltens geeignet sind.
