In an alternate universe where JFK was never assassinated, mankind has already suffered through World War III, unified into a single world government, and built a base on the moon by the year 1999!September 13th: 1999 An atomic accident causes the moon to be blown out of orbit and hurled into the unknown, the survivors of the lunar base stationed there launched towards their destiny across the stars. But what of the cataclysm and wanton destruction caused to the Earth in its wake? This groundbreaking retroreintroduction to the scifi hit series begins with AFTERSHOCK, which follows nine lives who are forever changed by the carnage left in the moons wake. Told from the point of view of those left behind on a ravaged Earth, AFTERSHOCK explores the scientific, environmental, and social political repercussions of a world left with no moon. The story continues in AWE, which adapts the pilot episode of SPACE: 1999 Breakaway, as seen through the personal logs

I watched Space: 1999 Aftershock and Awe last weekend, and while I enjoyed the nostalgia, some parts felt a bit slow. There's great attention to detail, and the visuals are stunning. Just wish the pacing was a little quicker, but it’s still a solid watch for fans of the genre!

Epic addition to my collection!
I recently got Space: 1999 Aftershock and Awe, and it's honestly one of my favorite additions to my sci-fi collection. The storyline is intriguing and the character development is really engaging. I love how it ties into the original series and expands the universe. If you’re a fan of classic sci-fi, you’ll definitely enjoy this one!

Disappointed with the ending
I had high hopes for Space: 1999 Aftershock and Awe, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The beginning was promising, but the ending felt rushed and left too many questions unanswered. It was nice to see the characters again, but I feel like they could've done more with the storyline. Not what I expected!
