With the Nyohira bathhouse in good hands, Lawrence and Holo continue their journey, exploring the world anew. Of course, it wouldnt be much of an adventure if they didnt run into some new facesand some old ones, too. So when their old friend Elsa asks them to investigate a cursed mountain to discover the secret of the wandering alchemists and a fallen angel, of course they accept. It may be some time yet until they catch up with Col and Myuriwho have somehow gotten into a bit of matrimonial trouble of their own?!

I enjoyed this volume, but I felt the pacing was a bit slower compared to earlier books. The story is still engaging, and I love seeing more of Holo and Lawrence together. It's worth the read, just don't expect it to be as action-packed as the previous ones!

Just finished reading this volume and wow, it didn’t disappoint! The humor and romance between Holo and Lawrence are delightful, and the writing is as beautiful as ever. Definitely a solid continuation of the saga!

Beautiful Cover but Disappointing Content
I was so excited to get Volume 22 because the cover art is gorgeous. Unfortunately, I found the storyline to be a bit lackluster and not as captivating as past volumes. I hoped for more intrigue. Still, I'm holding out hope for the next installment!
