Spinifex is a title in the Cambridge Reading Australia series which complements Cambridge Reading. It is one of three information books which introduces children to minihabitats. The book describes the creatures that live in a clump of spinifex grass in the Australian desert. The other two books are Coral Island and Forest Floor.
