The final section, In the midst of life, is about Christian spirituality lived in the real and sometimes messy world. The author provides numerous inspiring and engaging examples, exercises to bring the text alive and to help us apply spiritual techniques, and suggestions for further reading. All these make this a book to live by as well as one to pray and learn with.

The workbook has some interesting prompts, but I expected more detailed guidance. Some sections felt a bit too vague for my liking. However, I did find it useful for starting conversations about spirituality with friends. Just wish it went a bit deeper in some areas!

Disappointed with the content
I really wanted to love this workbook, but I found the content underwhelming. The activities didn't resonate with me and felt a bit repetitive. I also had a hard time connecting with some concepts presented. Maybe it's just not the right fit for me, but I wouldn’t suggest it to others.
