Weltkrieg, Note: '1', Universitt Hamburg (Historisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Hauptseminar Von der Weltwirtschaftskrise bis zum Wiederaufbau Hamburg 1930 bis 1950', Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gerade noch rechtzeitig bevor der Deutsche Fuball Bund (DFB) doch endlich in der Lage scheint, sich der eigenen NSVergangenheit zu stellen eine diesbezglich in Auftrag gegebene Studie der Historiker Prof. Klaus Hildebrand (Universitt Bonn) und Nils Havemann (Mainz) soll Ende 2004 fertig sein sind whrend der letzten Jahre einige Werke entstanden, die sich mit der Geschichte des Deutschen Fuballs und des DFB whrend der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus befassen. Vielfach wird in diesen Bchern insbesondere von Bitzer/Wilting, SchwarzPich und Fischer/Lindner die bereitwillige Mitarbeit der Fubballfunktionre im NSStaat und die Instrumentalisierung des Fuballs sowie des Sports im allgemeinen durch die Nationalsozialisten dargestellt und zumindest teilweise kontrovers diskutiert1. Die Frage jedoch, inwieweit die Sportpresse Anteil an einer solchen Instrumentalisierung hatte, ist bis heute nur in sehr geringem Mae behandelt worden. Lediglich als Quellen fr besagte Werke tauchen Zeitungsberichte das fteren auf. Mit dieser Arbeit verfolge ich im wesentlichen zwei Ziele. Erstens mchte ich einen allgemeinen berblick ber die Hamburger Sportpresse whrend des Nationalsozialismus schaffen, zweitens speziell die Frage beantworten, ob und wenn ja in welcher Weise Sportberichterstattung als NSPropagandamittel eingesetzt wurde.
