Scheinbar sttzte er sich auf die Theorien von Marx, Engels und Lenin und suchte sein Verhalten und seine Manahmen mit angeblich sozialistischen Begrndungen zu legitimieren. Doch kann man tatschlich sagen, dass Stalin den Sozialismus in der Art und Weise versuchte umzusetzen, wie Marx, Engels und weitere es im Sinn hatten? Oder kann man vielmehr von einer ganz speziellen' Sichtweise Stalins ausgehen, der die sozialistische Theorie als Deckmantel fr sein Agieren missbrauchte; ist sein Verstndnis des Sozialismus also eher ein Missverstndnis? In der folgenden Arbeit mchte ich an einigen Merkmalen der stalinschen Herrschaft versuchen, mgliche Differenzen seiner Herrschaft zur sozialistischen Theorie aufzeigen. Aus Grnden der Strke des Umfangs der Arbeit ist es dabei notwendig, verschiedene Aspekte, wie die Vorgeschichte, also die Herrschaft Lenins, weitestgehend auszuklammern, auch wenn natrlich das Phnomen Stalin nicht aus dem Nichts entstanden ist. Um Differenzen seines Denkens und Handelns zu den Vorstellungen Marx und Engels und auch Lenins bezglich dem Weg zum Sozialismus aufzuzeigen, erscheint es mir notwendig, zunchst kurz auf diese einzugehen.
