aereits sehr frh und seitdem immer wieder hat ein Gebiet der Preis theorie besondere Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen und Anla zu intensiven wissenschaftlichen Bemhungen gegeben: die Preisbildung auf oligopolistisch strukturierten Mrkten. Schon 1838 hat Cournot diese Frage aufgegriffen und eine Lsung angeboten. Die Reihe derer, die sich nach ihm dem Problem des Preiswettbewerbs zwischen Oligopolisten zuwandten, ist lang und enthlt viele bekannte Namen. Im Mittelpunkt dieser vorwiegend volkswirtschaftlich ausgerichteten Untersuchungen stand die Frage nach dem Gleichgewicht auf Oligopol mrkten und den Eigenschaften dieses Gleichgewichts. Neben diesen vornehmlich den Gesamtmarkt ins Auge fassenden Arbeiten sind jene Untersuchungen z. B. von Erich Gutenberg zu nennen, di vom Standpunkt des in einer Unternehmung fr die Preispolitik Verantwort lichen ausgehend die Frage zu beantworten suchen, welche Preise und welches preispolitische Verhalten bestimmten, vorgegebenen Unternehmens zielen entsprechen. Diesem Vorgehen folgend, sind die Betrachtungen des hier vorgelegten Buches betriebswirtschaftlich orientiert, d. h. aus der Sicht der Unternehmung angestellt. Es geht dem Verfasser darum, einen Beitrag zur Entscheidungs theorie der Unternehmung in Oligopolsituationen zu leisten: Fr welchen Preis bzw. welche Preisstrategie mu sich ein Oligopolist entscheiden, um sich unter Bercksichtigung der jeweiligen Datenkonstellation seiner Zielsetzung entsprechend zu verhalten? Diese Frage kann a) wie bisher in der Literatur vorwiegend geschehen im Entscheidungs feld einer statischen Oligopoltheorie und b) realittsnher im Entscheidungsfeld einer dynamischen Oligopol theorie untersucht und beantwortet werden. Beiden Problemkreisen wendet sich der Verfasser zu.
