This book is packed with info on avalanche safety, but some sections felt a bit overwhelming. The illustrations are great, though! I think it’s a must-read for serious backcountry enthusiasts.

Not as practical as I hoped
While 'Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain' has great information, I was expecting more actionable tips. Some of it felt like common sense. Still, it's a decent read if you're serious about safety.
